Wow...didn't expect that. So, many thanks for all the congrats, and, of couse, congrats to Dave and David, too.
Haven't posted anything in awhile, as currently involved with a very-long Bryce animation (of couse, it's got to with the Moon etc.,), and as everyone here well knows, when you start doing long-ish renders, they tend to take you over. Moreso, editing is long-ish too.
Wonder what Dave's theme for the next challenge will be...oooohhhh, the pressure is on ;)
Oh wow... thanks guys well done to everyone... this month was a particularly good month with excellent renders all round.
Suppose I should get my thinking cap on for a theme. If we're going seasonal or bi monthly instead of monthly, it will influence my ideas, so Chohole; if we could confirm that either way please. :)
Well as we are going to be late starting this month How about we got for a compromise, and have the challenge running 5-6 weeks, with a slight gap in between each to facilitate the judging process.
This could cut it down to maybe 8 challenges in a year.
BTW there will be a slight delay in getting the prizes to you store account's this month, as the person who normally does this for me is on sick leave.
Thank you and congratulations to the other winners. I always feel a bit cheeky putting in my renders, they are usually minimal, just a few objects and some (all be it carefully chosen) materials and light. But there is where my thinking lies, on small and simple things.
