REACHING THE HORIZON (again)
Remake of my first entry with Faveral's Buenaventura (there was a sale). Also added the dragon fish, the kind of monster one can find on old maps.
Back From Beyond The Horizon.
Henryhor - yes, improved (I miss Rincewind on the boat ).
StuartB- very good idea and well done.
Henryhor - very nice addition of the dragon
StuartB - nice idea and well done
Henryhor waterfall and entire....phew
Stuart...unexpected
Jay
Lot of great entries so far, here's my third
#3 Sundown
@ Horo: thanks for the comment. Rincewind is under deck, at the rudder, steering the ship dead ahead.
@ mermaid010 & Jamahoney: thanks
@ StuartB: impressive
@ S Ray: I imagine a sad story. She probably needs to be comforted... Nicely done.
S Ray - indeed, the sun goes down beyond the horizon. Very nice work.
S Ray - gorgeous, wondefully posed.
Jay
Horo thanks for your comments and the answer is in the title

@stuartb... Looking back form beyond... Very cool image... spooky what lies beyond
@ed3d... really like the stargate... and what lies through it
@danwhiteside... Land Ho... Great image... Love the sky
@horo Omni Horizon is really great... Looking at the World in a different way
@jamahoney... Monolith... is a very striking image ..great contrast and lighting...
@henryhor... Reaching the Horizon (again) Really cool image... Love the monster and the falls
@stuartb... Back from Beyond the Horizon love the lighting...and glow
@sray... Sundown... really beautiful
How did I get Beyond The Horizon?
StuartB - very imaginative work and superbly done.
S Ray - beautiful Sundown
StuartB - I agree with Horo very imaginative work awesome effect.
Thanks very much, running out of ideas but that's my 3rd entry now.
It's a really simple scene. The figure is actually way behind the background.
2 Terrains and 1 figure. Material for the background was Selene from the Effects materials.
Henryhor: Still getting better!
StuartB: Great render of the plane; nice colours. Very imaginative render with the men in the grey swirls above the purple sea.
S Ray: Sundown, really nice render, wonderful sunset colours and great perspective.
@ Horo: Fantastic work!
@Jahahoney: Simple, but strong. Very good work.
@StuartB: Back From Beyond The Horizon - Cool idea and well done.
How did I get beyond the horizon? - another great idea. The whole thing is very artistic. would do well on a big poster.
@S Ray: Wonderfully sad and a great light.
Henryhor : great waterfall !
StuartB : Back from Beyond the horizon : amazing image, especially the colours used !
How did I get beyond the horizon : that's what I call original, very well done.
SRay : very nice sunset, great lighting.
My last entry : High beyond the horizon
adbc - very nice beyond the horizon space scene. The shadow from the habitat or spacecraft on the planet or moon makes it appear tiny and almost on the ground. Moving the key light a bit so that the shadow falls out of the image frame would improve it.
Cheers, Mtnmen and Drachenlords
Stuart...looks like a multiverse problem - just choose any point, and that should get you back into normal space and horizon
AdBc...I like the ship, and agree with Horo...I'd just use no shadow cast on to the planet below.
Jay
Horo : thanks, you are right about the shadow, I moved the light and the shadow disappeared.
Jamahoney : Thanks, the ship was modeled with wings3D.
Thanks to all for the comments.
@ StuartB: daliesque (again). The background reminds me of the "exploding raphaelesque head. Very interesting.
@ adbc: nice model. Well presented.
adbc - now it looks great and the ship appears to be high up the planet.
