What an interesting dress. I'd never heard of the "Cherokee Tear Dress" before, so I googled it just now and read various accounts of its origin. Looks like it would adapt to other uses for 19th Century renders - thank you for giving us yet another clothing option.
This is lovely !! I wish I had your talent !! Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for this. I've been looking for something similar but more on the Seminole line seeing as how I'm from Florida.
Yep but gingercakes the Seminoles use a skirt and blouse ,not a dress but I'll bet Wilmap could do that too ,if we ask nicely .......
OT ,I'm from Florida too maybe we should talk??? ......
So proud to live, so proud to die.
Yes I know they use skirt and blouse with a cape. I'm from the northern part of Florida.
If the Seminoles has a cape then sorry I can't make it for you. I still can't get capes and shawls rigged properly.
Yep it's a really beautiful cape/blouse too......
Gingercakes I'm down south outskirts of Miami .....
Ah, my mom used to leave in Homestead.
Yep not quite that far south but not too far away either .......
And once again I find myself behind. Wendy I must say this... This one touches home. I see many of these at our Pow Wow's. Having it in 3D will allow me to do some wonderful renders to print for a few members of the tribe that teach some of the skill's that might pass away if not for them keeping the skill's and lore of the people alive today.
I truly Thank You for this, I also wonder why I never thought to ask for it myself...
