Aside from putting on Cheer Leader outfits, grabbing some pom-poms and cheering you guys on, is there ANYTHING we can do to help you along? I'm so STOKED for the two models!
(Also, putting on my Captain Obvious Hat here, is this something that will be a freebie, offered here at DAZ, or somewhere else, orrr......?)
Can't wait!
Something a little silly....

Got a little bit of a problem here. I've just downloaded and converted the recent Tie Striker .lwo mesh by HawkHart from Foundation3D.
It's a very nice model, with optional solar panel wings in the up or down position, but there are a lot of reversed normals. Is there an easy way to find and fix them all in one go? Using the Geometry Editor in D|S does work, but it's a long hard slog — I had to do the same a few months back with an otherwise excellent Star Trek model, and I'm still not sure if I got them all.
^In Blender you can select all and choose Mesh>Normals>Recalculate outside - it works in most cases but not all (like if the normals are supposed to be inside - you can also 'recalculate inside'). If it's parts of a mesh that are connected (like a whole wing-section), you can 'select connected' in the Geometry editor and flip them all at once. If it's random polys here and there...Blender / other modeller is still your best bet.
It's random single/multiple/arc groups of polys. Lots of chunks around the four body gun mounts and various other small round greeblies, big stripes around the cockpit framing (easily fixed, I got that done in half an hour) and back hatch... and that's just in the central body. Haven't checked the wings yet, but I have seen suspicious black bits on one side but not the other.
Can fixing normals be done practically in Hexagon? I have that, but I've never really been able to wrap my head around it. I've tried Blender a few times and immediately been totally lost.
^I'm sure it can but it's been so long since I used Hexagon that I wouldn't know where to begin.
At least in Blender it's: import .obj (probably want to select 'keep vertex order') - then select mesh, tab into edit mode, 'a' to select all polys, then use: mesh>normals>recalculate outside. Export obj.

May the 4th be with you all!
Hi all!
May the Force be with you...
May The Force Be With You, Always.
That Boba Fett is amazing! And really nice dramatic lighting!
May I ask where you got the costume? Is it a kitbash?
There is a free Poser version on CGHARE but he is a figure, it's not an outfit.
@Faeofthe3rdDimension
Check your messages.
Just squeezing this in while it's still May the Fourth (be with you) in DAZland. Using the new Asteroid Vesta in the store, the Tie Fighter from Vanishing Point, and an old Hubble photo as backdrop.

Forgot to post this in here yesterday.
Great ones!
anyone knows of a Sullustan morph? I need one, so if noone knows about it, I might try to make one.... will not be easy ;-)
I wanted to post this yesterday, but I decided to use my new skills to fix a problem with the Vader model and it was worth it. He looks way better now.
You've struck my curiosity. What was the "problem"?
Sincerely,
Bill
Double post?
There wasn't a seperate material zone for the cloth above his belt like there was for the cloth below his belt. In order to get them to match up, and make his chest material look right, I had to give the cloth a leather look. It never looked right to me. So, I used the geometry editor to create a seperate material zone for the top cloth.
RE: The Mandalorian and The Child figures
Any status update on this? Will it be posted here where we can get ahold of it? Super excited for this!
The Slave 1 represents the 1st model, I have rigged in Daz3D. I rigged the guns and wings. Hopefully I can move up to more complicated models.
Probably the closest I’ll get to a straight-up Star Wars render.

Duda is done and I'm dragging but on my end
@JoeQuick
Awright, what's it gonna take to get your butt in gear? <LOL>
Seriously though, if there is anything at all that *we* can do to help you, please let us know! I'm LITERALLY fidgeting in my seat thinking about getting my hands on these two!
A fishy story if ever I heard one!
any thoughts on building the razor crest
