lots of holes??

Hi I am modeling a mac pro tower. what is the best method for modeling the front alluminium with all the holes? I will exporting to bryce so i could use a bolean method in bryce to do this but is there a way to do this in Hexagon? thanks

Managed to solve this problem after looking through some previous posts here. just a small test section to see if it worked

You are going to end up with a lot of geometry for very little benefit, unless you are rendering an extreme closeup of just the holes. A transparency map applied to the material surface would be much more efficient, I think.
