3D Art Freebie Challenge-May 2018-"Month Of The Dragons" -Main Thread Only

You have heard of the year of the Dragon? Well this is the "Month Of The Dragons", so I want to see all the great dragon worshiping, battling, flying with, that you muster up.

The Rules For This Months Freebie Challenge are:

1. A minimum of (5) Freebies must be included in your image along with Links to the freebies you have used. For an item to be considered free it must be offered as a freebie for the whole month. The exception to this rule is all Daz Bi-Weekly Freebies will be allowed throughout the entire month in which they are free as well as the month following their release as a freebie (For a total of 2 months). Also, if a freebie is broken down into multiple downloads/links/parts (IE like if the freebie is broken down into 3 zips etc...)it only counts as 1 freebie, not 3.
2. There will be a Maximum of 5 purchased items.
3. Base figures (All Gen 2,3,4, and Genesis 1,2,3) as well as their general morphs packs (Morphs++ and similar) do not count as a purchased item or a freebie and may be used as needed
4.Postwork is allowed but you MUST include a before and after Postwork versions of your entry in the Entry Thread.
5. All DAZ 3D Programs are allowed (IE Bryce, Carrara, Daz Studio and Hexagon) plus Poser for the contest.
6. All entries are subject to the Daz3D TOS Found Here: http://www.daz3d.com/terms-of-service ;
7. You may enter a Maximum of 4 Entries per month.
8. You may edit your entry as much as you like in the main thread but once it is posted to the "Entries" thread it may not be further modified. Also, if you edit or add things, be sure you update any links or freebie changes you make.
This Freebie Challenge will end Thursday May 31st @ 23:59 Daz time.

Is the Millennium SubDragon a freebie? I think I got it with DAZ essentials a long time ago. Also the Millennium Dragon LE came with a 3D Starter Pack that used to be free. Can these be counted either as freebies or non-counting freebies?

A No Count listing I am sorry to say as it is a part of the Daz essentials now (It come with Daz Studio)

But everything else in your renders can be freebies!!

There are free dragons out there and free shaders you can use on the dragons that can be counted as FEEBIES

Yes that is exactly right @luci45 you can use Dragon LE as a "No Count" listing.

Yes that is exactly right @luci45 you can use Dragon LE as a "No Count" listing.

Millennium SubDragon LE comes with Genesis Starter Essentials (part of Daz Studio) and can be picked up for free as we speak so it's a No Count item. Millennium Dragon, Millennium Dragon LE or Millennium SubDragon can not be downloaded for free right now so should be a Paid For item. Or am I wrong?

That is right I think :) never enough of dragons for me. I am missing Millenium SubDragon, MilDragons 1 and 2 LE and some expansions for Dragon 3 I wish so much. But I better try to create one ore few characters with this I have, and lets see if I will be able to finish soon

Millennium SubDragon LE comes with Genesis Starter Essentials (part of Daz Studio) and can be picked up for free as we speak so it's a No Count item. Millennium Dragon, Millennium Dragon LE or Millennium SubDragon can not be downloaded for free right now so should be a Paid For item. Or am I wrong?

I am sorry @Luci45 Jacky is right The MD LE and SUB Dragon are not free right now so it would have to be set as "Paid For" Listing

But if you got it for free say years ago then it could be set as "No Count" stating you got it for free back then.

Thank You! It might be a bit more complicated then I though but I will try. It will be illustration of 1994. RPG session just few moments before TPK (Total Party Kill) by a young bronze dragon corrupted by six ogre magi, that ended our 2 years Ad&d campaign... I wanted to recreate that moment for some time, and of course to change it and maybe to continue with adventure :)

I couldn't get a dforce wind node to work on the cloak without making it explode, so I tipped the whole scene up by 60 degrees, let the cloak drape using normal gravity (stopping the simulation around 70%), and then tipped it back again. Works well, I think!

Dragon Menace

Inspired by first TPK (Total Party Kill) in my Ad&d gaming group 1995. Story behind it is that we were trying to help villagers that suffering attacks by strange creatures. Those were six ogre magis with polymorphing ability that had young corrupted bronze dragon. We met them all together in an old dwarven mine in the throne room.
