Main pane disappeared - FIXED

somehow i undocked? my main work pane and now i cant see the scene in the main center pane.  Not exactly sure how or why i did it but i cant seem to find a way to get it back open.  Its just one big gray square.  I tried looking in windows > pane but couldnt find what i thought was the appropriate pane.  Help me get my work area back please.  any help or suggestions are very much appreciated but please list the specific steps i need to use.  I am a bit slow when it comes to using Daz or this computer in general.  thanks in advance.

    If you mean the Viewport that dissapeared and that happens all the time. Window - Panes- last item : Viewport

    when i go to windows - pane= viewport it opens a very small box but i dont see any option to expand it or any option that seems to restore the window
