Daz will not work!

Hello, I'm new to here and to 3d modelling. I thought DAZ would be a good way to start.

Immediately after installation I run into a problem ’ The procedure entry point ?put-LastRecID@QUeryResult@vsql@fbl@@QEAAI@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library VShared_x64.dll.’

I'm running a high end i7 dual core Intel computer, win7 64 bit Pro, 4 gig ddr3 - win7 is fully updated.

Uninstalled everything concerned with DAZ including CMS, turned off antivirus - reinstalled and same problem!

Any help would be appreciated thank you, I really would like to have a go at this.

Unless some of the serious Geeks among us can help this might one for a support ticket via the Help link and the top of the forums and direct it to the tech department.

Also Daz Studio is no for modelling but for rendering.

Did you install to a drive other than C:? Reportedly people have had this issue if they do that, and fixed it by installing the application to C: (that doesn't oblige you to place your content there). If that is your issue, please make or add a note to an existing bug report - bugs.daz3d.com, requires a separate account to the store and forum.

The install was to C: but not quite as per default - I chose to create a folder called Daz and instructed it to install to that location.

Does it work if you install with the default locations?
