Body Mixer For Genesis 3 & 8(Commercial)

Hi Guys. I always wanted to release this product but never had the time to finish it. Now you can split up the official Daz Body Morphs Into lower and upper sections. You can also exagerrate or smooth out that area on the shape. It also contains over 120 bend, and combination jcms for the Heavy and Pear shapes. This product may also be used by sellers who release characters which make use of the Body Morphs from Daz, as long as it is a requirement as it is designed and linked to the Daz3D Body Morphs. So far Female version is already in testing, male version still under developement. More details to follow. Here are some promos.

Interesting and potentially very useful, especially since it's for both G3 and G8.  Now we need a a left/right option as well, as a lot of people tend to have one arm or leg that's much more developed than the other.

    Thank you for supporting G3!

Just want to say, especially once the male version is also available, the JCM's for heavy and pear shape alone will be a HUGE benefit, much less the rest of this offering. Looking forward to this.

So this works for only the official DAZ morphs, none other?

Great work! I love it when you come out with something that I never thought of but as soon as I see it I realize I always wanted it.

Yes only the official Daz morphs. You can combine them with your existing shape, but this package was designed to be an add on for the official morphs. It becomes extremely complicated if you start splitting up other shapes because this has a shape exaggerating feature as well. You have to take into account JCM's some of them contain, and how do you nullify them, and when do they activate when combined with another split section. Luckily the Daz Body Morphs doesn't contain any, so it was a good platform to build this. Also, it gives content sellers more flexibility, ones who rely on the Daz body morphs to build their characters on.

    wonderful concept!

i have to wonder how long you've been wishing you could finish it.  that'd be fun to know.

but this looks like one of those tools that people are going to be wondering 'how did we ever live without it?' in no time at all.

I was just getting annoyed earlier this week because I wanted Voluptuous body sans big breasts. And here you were already finished with the solution to my problem. Keep up the great work!

The jcm for Heavy is quite welcome!

Cool - I've always said all the DAZ Bodybuilder/Muscular morphs for the female figures right back to V2 are very unbalanced, upper body to lower body, for anyone but a cyclist (and although this doesn't deal with the defined arms being way too skinny, I guess ShapeShift does). And thanks for covering the G3s as after some thought and experiment I'm sticking with the G3s for various reasons.

Your increasing the utility of these DAZ morphs does, though, immediately bring to mind my one big gripe about your G3 and G8 Fit Control products: for the male versions you include smoothers for BodyBuilder, Fitness, Emaciated and (for the G3) Muscle Volumes, but for the female ones you do not. Especially galling when I'm trying to fit normal, not spandex clothes to a main female character who uses some BodyBuilder and some Muscle Volumes ... (less than 50% on both - going for a particular real word body type based on some real word examples, not cartoon She Hulk.)

There’s a leg day joke here...

Sigh.. I haven't bought this yet since DAZ obviously took advantage of Zev's products' popularity by sticking Body Mixer in an ad with what may be one of the most bungled DAZ promotions I can remember.  Not only are most of the other items in the same ad rather lame - two beginner level tutorials, an overpriced pose set and... seriously, DAZ, what is the deal with offering a bundle that contains a figure, a set and some props if you're only going to offer the props seperately?  Especially when you have to have the room for half of the prop set to work?  Then, while I was trying to decide whether to essentially pay $5.00 for the pose set or just get the two Body Mixer sets separately and lose the bundle discount entirely, a third of the sale products in the cart I'd put together suddenly skyrocketed in price.  Not once but twice. Yep.  First all of Darwin's Mishaps' products were pulled from the sale, and then all of Second Circle's.  Seriously DAZ?

So, if sales on this product aren't as good as some of your previous products Zev, rest assured that it's not because of anything that you did, but I imagine there are more than a few others who are rather irritated with DAZ right now.

So appreciative for this product. I was so happy to find it in the Parameters tab morph list, and it made it much easier to achieve my character goals. Zev0, you are definitely a Daz treasure!

  • Excellent product! I've been getting lots of use out of this one. Any chance of getting a thigh side-side JCM for Pear & Heavy at some point? And is it normal that the JCMs don't activate when only the Lower/Upper Pear/Heavy Details sliders are used (without using their corresponding original morphs)?

"And is it normal that the JCMs don't activate when only the Lower/Upper Pear/Heavy Details sliders are used (without using their corresponding original morphs)?"

Hi. Yes. These rely on the original morphs to be dialed to be fully functional. They activate the jcm's.
