    Is it possible to turn the scene upside down so you can use gravity as per normal, then turn the animation sequence that is done the right side up ?

    I had the same kinda idea with the sand before clicking on the next page & seeing @bunyip02 but just reverse the animation.. if that can be done  angel

    With apologies to diomede, I didn't actually use his prop but instead traced the outline from your screen grab (after correcting the aspect ratio).
    I used one of the line tools then extruded the shape. I think I got pretty close to the shape of the actual on screen prop.

    Wish I had a high res version of the texture map.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm using a Mac and that software is Windows only.

    go for it... all of them...

    or

    an Archaeology render... I think there was a model in the daz store the other week... which could be modeled in Carrara easily  I think... imagine a neanderthal hand coming up through the ground grabbing some unsuspecting archaeologist ... eeeek cool

    sorry quickie from me so you know I am here will comment on the thread tomorrow if all goes well (nice render Bunyip02 :) ) 

    great discovery today that you can u se windings etc in the text primitive - so made the clock hands with that, used replicator plugin to distrubute the numerals after a lott of screwing round with native replicator

     

     

     

     

     

    the nebulae pattern on the ground is from putting a ron's nebulae image in a spotlight as the gel
