virtual nickel 4 yor carrara thoughts: the next level

I don't have an issue using G8 clothes with Misty's preset. I convert the outfit to Blended Weights in Studio and save it as a scene. Then I load G8 from the Carrara contents tab and import the saved clothes from Carrara's import menu item.  I conform the clothing and i'm done. Morphs work also.

For some reason, my male G8 works fine for "fit to" and morphs, but my G8 female morphs are not projecting.  I'm going to try to uninstall an reinstall Misty's female character and see how it goes..

The base one is fine for me but due to scaling and that toe issue some full body morphs are not so great, Mrs Chow for instance is unuseable, stuff that doesn’t change the scale like breast morphs, big bums etc work fine.

If done properly morphs like Zevo’s growing up or toon figures, dwarves etc work fine too so it’s hit or miss.

found where the content tab folder strings are stored.

was giving me the dreaded dsf not found message.

even tho i was removing the ds lib in carrara, it was leaving stuff in that file,

i manually deleted the reference in the preferences.txt

and was able to re add the dslib to content tab. solved the dsf message

think it a difference between relative path and literal path, cuz i don't use 

the default file location and i don't have post ogre running

i think the special effect on her voice is an aural exciter.  seeing a vintage amplex aural exciter, don't see a digital version

I would read into and look on YouTube to see what exactly it does and if the effect you want before buying anything as your software likely does it already just using other terms

need the vert numbers surrounding the polys in the g8f toe issue

want to see if those verts are in the list of deltas in the morph

it would mae more sense if those verts don't move at all, but its like tripling the values

i still don't understand how they rigged a text primitive, can't even open it in the rigging tab.
thinkin carrara must have some secret heirarchy editor like poser.  import a text file to set up the rigging.
