Oh look: I've drifted over 100 pages. 103 now. More alarming, DIM says I'm 4 items shy of 4000! Now, how many items is that really? Bundles break into more than one item and actual items also break into more than one item. It's a cascading field of items, and this does not include items from other sites or Daz items that somehow don't appear in my library. I feel dizzy now.

The formula I use is to the filter on your DAZ product library page to just the word "bundle", take the number of pages there (each page except the last will be 40 items) and subtract that from your product total.  It won't be 100% accurate and there are a handful of "bundles" that don't break down into seperate items, and there are a few bundles that don't have the word bundle in them, but it's close enough.  So, in my case I have 1135 pages of items in my product library of which 55 pages are "Bundle", so that's 45,400 products minus 2,200 products =  43,200

Thankfully, Renderosity and Renderhub both display actual product number counts, but products from many of the other sites will unfortunately require copying the data to a spreadsheet and cleaning it up in order to get something even close to an accurate count.  I don't even try to account for freebies...

Thanks @cybersox! Spitballing on the idea... I think your total is actually a lot, lot more. How do I figure? Well, you surely have characters. Some of the characters are bundled with outfits, so tha's at least two items. Some characters are crafted with extra stuff - Enough to be two different characters. The outfits often have accessories - sometimes jewelry, sometimes weapons, etc. Those can be applied as separate items. And let's not even get started with outfits packed as bundles and broken into several items (jacket, pants, shoes, etc). Well, you get the idea. And I would say I'm exaggerating, except there are items marketed as separates - ie A shirt with nothing else etc. So, from that point of view, I think we've all got a ton of items. You have at least 100 tons. laugh

I try to stay within the confines of "if two or more items are only sold as part of a single package" then that's 1 product.  Otherwise one could go mad trying to figure out how many individual shoes, pairs of panties, trees, chairs, etc. that there are... though when there ARE specific items like that and I deem them worthy, as in most hair items, for example, they do get indexed seperately.

The irritating thing, though, is that despite having all that inventory, there are still things that either still don't exist at all in the DAZ/Poser universe, or where what there is so ancient that it sticks out like a sore thumb when used with newer products.... hence the reason I keep shoping...

I consider a bundle one product with itemized assets, but DIM does not. "DIM-DAZonly" downloaded zips are 100GB short of filling filled a 4 TB SSD drive. I never delete after installs and backup plugins and apps to a folder on different backup external drive, so I can roll back, or reinstall various versions if needed. If I posted this after I checked out today's cart I would be starting my 177th page. Some invoices are a mile long and downloading both manually, and with DIM, can be a tedious task. Finally got everything mostly organized and remapping directories. Using geometry editor like there's no tomorrow. My DIM looks pretty lean and clean. Only product not downloaded is the 4.22 32 bit PB.
