You guys make a great team. Everything works together seamlessly. Looking forward to what you all come up with next!
Aw, thank you!
So, I was given an ok to post a render or two of a different project. The tattoos only are my part.
Wow....Those are amazing tattoos! The rest looks pretty darn good too....
XD Thank you!
Most welcome! I caved and bought the mermaid and the environment lol. I am hoping to pick up the rest soon. The hair looks amazing, its really hard to find hair that well...floats lol. Haven't had time to even give her a try but I am looking forward to it for sure.
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Sneak peek at Ishimoto- just started his head/torso skins. No seam or color fixing yet-just the raw, first draft.
I think Ishimoto is comming along just fine.
The skin is looking good so far!!
Yeah nice looking skin so far : D
Thank you both very much! :) He definitely needs the seams gone over; the bump from the head to the body is extreme and I'll have to work on those as well before doing the additional details.
However- I probably won't be able to get the time in before I head out for all of next week. Visiting family out of state, so he and the comp. will take a back seat for the rest of my time here so I can spend time with my s/o and get packed.
Hope everyone had a great 4th! To those that celebrate, that is. ;)
I'll pop in (maybe) to visit the forums if I have time while I'm gone. It'll be a big maybe. lol
Enjoy the time off!
Have a good time, DM. And hey, Lorenzo's out!
Thank you both, and I just realized! Lol
I love you Promos on Lorenzo!
Thank you! They came easy this time. XD
Thanks for the new guy. Bought him today.. I just can’t help it... I need more cowboys,
You are very welcome, thank you, and darned tootin’. ;)
I LIVE.
Trip went well, little hiccup at first, but it cleared itself up fairly easily. Home since Saturday night and rested Sunday-then work! Massive hiccup being that we've had to shut the water off at the curb since Thursday due to a massive leak below the foundation of the house. Hopefully the speicialist coming tomorrow will find Where the leak is so the plumbers can Fix the leak. Until then, we're using the curb key to turn on and off the water supply to the house for a few moments twice a day to take care of a few things. Yarg.
Until more updates- here's a teaser. ;)
Oh man, the water issue sounds like a nightmare. I hope you guys are able to get it straightened out and fixed soon - that has to be REALLY hard to be without water for most of the day.
Your teaser is awesome though - NIIIICE!!
I've been meaning to ask you -where do you get the tattoos you use for your awesome guys? Do you draw those or is there a place you buy them? I may want to include one or two tattoos in a future character's release and would love to know where you get your gorgeous images! :) If it's a secret and you wouldn't want to tell me, I understand.
Is that Ishimoto's back? Are you going to try for the full irezumi look?
Glad to hear that you're back and things mostly went well; sorry to hear about the water issues. Hope it gets fixed quickly.
I'm experienced at those sort of decrepit building problems since childhood but I'll never be a carpenter. My current house the hot water heater sprung a big leak so I replaced it with one of those tankless hotwater heaters. Much cheaper it was and definately easier to install.
Sorry about your water issues, I hope you get them fixed soon.
Wauw what a beautiful tattoo. So many details, must have taken a long time to paint.
Thank you, everyone. Yeah, we hope the water situation will get fixed soon. Surprising thing is-this house isn't decrepit at all. It was rather a surprise to everyone involved. I've lived in decrepit buildings, this isn't one of them. :)
The back and chest pieces will be Irezumi influenced, yes. His character is, after all, Yakuza. I haven't figured out the seam issues for the shoulder to arm pieces yet. I will, hopefully!
Most of my tattoos are mixed painting in Photoshop, or Blacksmith 3D, some scan/drawn, and quite a few through rights purchased through third party websites and ran through photoshop (alot). Diva, PM me and I can at least give you tips and schtuff.
Ugh home repairs suck! Hope its sorted soon!
And of course, I totally love that tattoo. Just..wow
Maybe some of the other PAs can help? Morris did an irezumi-influenced tattoo for Jinn and an upper body set for Karass M4 and Male-M3dia did a partial one for Ryuu on M4 UVs. All of them were some time ago and with different UVs, admittedly, but all had tattoos crossing shoulder-limb/torso texture islands.
Thanks, Sonja! I see you've been busy in your thread as well-some really nice renders in there.
I thought about that, vrangler. I have. Sometimes I'm just a PITA and need to figure things out on my own. About there. I managed to figure out a way to work over the seams in blacksmith 3d, and tweak the rest in photoshop to get rid of the stretching. Just need to finish one corner of the back/shoulder/upper arm area and I may have my first chest/arm piece. XD
Thank you! :D I'll send you a PM - I could use all the tips I can get. :)
Thanks! Working hard lol
Oh, my sister, her friends, my friends have all bought spanking brand new houses in the past 10 years that they had to force the builders to repair problems in their houses that my old decrepit house never had. That's the risk of buying a newer house build using traditional designs and building materials but without the traditions hands on architects and carpenters. The archtitects aren't fly by night but most of the labor used to build new houses is fly-by-night labor with no training in what they are doing.
Agree with you there, nonesuch00. A lot of the newer construction does not have the same grade of workmanship as the older homes (I'm thinking old-like mid to late 1800's to early 1900 homes).
A quick tester of the chest/shoulder/arm piece. I think I figured out a way to get across those seams with blacksmith3d. :)
Still need to deseam the skin- so no more playing with tats until then. lol
