    A skinny Wombat?

    Great Yellow Submarine. Maybe it could be added to the Seaview's Flying Sub bay.

    Maybe Steeza can be the first to create a model figure of the evil "IRON LUNG" that threatens the very existence of Carrara. Lol

    Haha.. a wacky iron lung...

    something to to think of after I try my hand at this helicopter idea I have for the recent pioneer challenge.

    ah have you read Chickenhawke ? About Huey's in Viatnam. You could do the original chap who decided to sit on his helmet to protect his nether regions rather than his head!

    lol... mmmm

    I've started on my wacky helicopter... this is going to be a challenge within itself I think!

    I hope to get it done in a few days. I already started one yesterday but not happy with it so have restarted from scratch again. sad

    The sledge looks very nice.  I have a long term project involving a short animation based on a Robert Service poem, maybe "The Cremation Of Sam Magee", the sledge would fit in I think.

    "There are strange things done in the midnight sun
          By the men who moil for gold ... "

    first time I have heard of that poem.... eeeek!

    There are strange things done in the midnight sun

          By the men who moil for gold;

    The Arctic trails have their secret tales

          That would make your blood run cold;

    The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,

          But the queerest they ever did see

    Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge

          I cremated Sam McGee.

    that would make an awesome render when the fella opens the door surprise angel

    Yup, should be a good ending for a short animation.  Illustrator Ted Harrison has a nice book with images inspired by the poem:

  • Stezza's latest models are amazing, I agree.  But isn't he using Hex most of the time?

  • HeadwaxHeadwax Posts: 10,013

    I liked the Sherlock Collection myself.. that's what then got me thinking about Agent 86.. was hoping no-one would mention the shoe phone lol

    Thanks for clarifying.  Happy to hear!

    Now all we need is a video tutorial where you take us through your workflow process of modeling an object. smiley

    you just want to listen to my aussie accent... I know... devil

    I don't have any software to do that, have never even done anything like it..

    Max asks, "Would you believe a pdf tutorial and a link to a 60s or 70s music video?"

  • Bunyip02Bunyip02 Posts: 8,714

    Or you could take a dozen or so screenshots of your next project showing the stages you work at, then post each image with some notes underneath.

  • if you have a nvidia card there is shadowplay

    don't really need a commentry can do annotations on youtube
