Hello all! I just got this wonderful plug-in. And I can see the possibilities with it, yet, I think I missed something. On first playing around with the program, I thought I'd do a simple short haired furry coat over one of my girls. (Mostly just the torso skin selected) In the LAMH preview even with the density pumped up to 100%, it still shows up as plain ol body hair in the render (And creepy body hair at that). Perhaps I missed something and somebody could perhaps enlighten me? I have tried a few of the presets and they seem to work as desired. The hair is lush, thick and covering.

There is a very large thread here on the subject, and you would be better asking your question there.

When exporting the hair from LAMH (that's the window with RiCurve or OBJ drop down menu) make sure you type a sufficiently high number, I'd say at least 500 000, perhaps more, and make sure to press the Enter key. 100% density is only for the OpenGL preview, not the hair themselves.
Ah, thank you for explaining that to me. I played around with it and 500k seemed to of done better. I'll post a new picture soon. But even after watching the tutorials, I still don't quiet understand how to make it look like a fur coat. Should I play around with the root/tip thickness?
Yes Root more than tip, they both play in getting thickness like the Total hair count does.
