Black Background

Using Daz 4.6Pro rendering scenes, have changed the background color to black but if not using a sky or fog ect. the background shows black but when rendered and saved it comes out white.How do I change this to black or can I without having a background of some sort loaded in the pic? I am saving in PNG mode. It shows a black background in the render scene but not in My Pictures on my PC

When you save as .png it saves with an alpha channel (transparent background). Photoshop/GIMP/whatever 2D graphics app you use should be able to show the actual color or composite it over a black background. If you save as .jpg it will save with the background color.
