Categories Section of Content Tab and Smart Content Tabs Stopped Working

I need some help. I went to use DAZ 4 last night, and the Smart Content tab and the Categories section of the Content tab are totally broken. I also can't search for new content.
When I click on the Categories section - nothing is there. When I try to add a new folder I get a "Unable to create container: xxx". The refresh button does nothing. The Products section is also totally blank. Things show up under the "Daz format products" and "Poser format products" , but I can't ever find anything using those!
The Smart Content tab is just totally blank, no matter what I do.
Help?!

That means the CMS is not running or is being blocked from communicating with DAZ Studio. What OS are you using? Under Windows: Shut down DS4, then go to Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D > DAZ Content Management Service and click on "Start DAZ Content Management Service".
