Hey all,

So I'm completely obsessed with literally the cutest thing in the entire universe lately. I think you all know what I mean :) And we all know... there are lots of "versions" of things, products inspired by copyrighted items... someone needs to do a non-copyright violation version of the thing. I even have an entire canon for them. The Sprigs are residents of a faraway galaxy known as Cuteopia. They're known for taking over entire solar systems by the power of their sheer adorableness. No species has ever been known to resist their new Sprig overlords. All it takes is one cooing noise from their little downturned mouths, one appealing look from those enormous brown eyes, and a flutter of their fluffy wings... and entire civilizations have fallen. I'd definitely buy this!!

    tried googling what a Sprig was, no luck on images. tried googlig Cuteopia, only thing I found was an art show on facebook. Got any links to what this is?

    !!! I followed the link and took a look at it... but I agree, it looks like it's Cararra only. And hey, a Sprig is now a thing! ;) In my own mind, anyway. I'm pretty familiar with copyright law... remember that you can't copyright an IDEA, only the specific expression of an idea. I'm going with the "cute space bird" thing. There must be a way to do this... I don't pretend to have any great skill at 3d modeling, but it's a very simple form, and if you're not picky about realistic fur... I think it could be done by a non-expert. 

     

    ETA: I went to the Daz thread about that "cute bird" and left a begging post for a Daz version. Other people seem interested too, so who knows, it might happen!

    I wouldn't be opposed to a baby Groot. But there's something about the Porgs... I mean, non copyright violation SPRIGS, which have absolutely NOTHING to do with any intellectural property owned by Disney. ;)

    Really a Porg is nothing more than a flat kitten head within a little penguin body, you could try to buy hivewire cat and daz toonimal penguin to combine both
