    @ed3d... The Scout Ship... is as has been commented... unusual for sure... looking at it as ony a carbon based life form can... However this type of ship could be the "norm" in a World not-full of carbon based lifeforms... Perhaps a World where all life is based on Silica ( the Horta from original Star Trek episode)...for example... Fun image ed3d... makes me think.

    @mermaid010...  Voids... what a beautiful abstract image... Verry Nice.

    Electro-Elvis - this looks great, excellent lighting. In reality you would extinguish the lamp because the light ruins the sensitivity of the eye. This is a good example how sticking too close to reality can ruin art.

    @Horo, adbc, mtnmen: Thanks a lot for your friendly comments. Horo fully agree, the lamp is just there because it looks better and give a nice lighting. Real stargazers would beat someone up, who brought such a thing along. :-)

    _and yes, have seen the Horta Star Trek episode, more than several  times

    _Also was kind of supposeing , like The Buckaroo Banzai_ film,

    how their Spaceships and things are kind of "organic"

    and perhaps they're  could be Silicon _``~...

    Great work by everyone so far. Love seeing the creative ways people interpret the theme.

    Anyway my second entry "Across the stars". 3 seperate renders. One for the landscape, one for the planets , and one for the stars.
