[Commercial] ARK Private Pool

And now for something very different than what I usually create:  a modern, albeit exotic, private pool for your hedonistic desires.

Enjoy the good life under the rays of a golden sun at some faraway exotic location in this private pool. Sit back and enjoy a lazy vacation where no one else can bother you.

Includes a full pool with attached lounge, working gate, Iray emissive light surfaces, and hideable components so you can get that perfect camera angle. Props include a lounge chair, flowers, trees, and paper lanterns.

Environmental preset is included as well as a scene to quickly set up and render with two included camera positions.

Btw, this is the first time I've created an Iray-only product (in the past, it's always been 3DL only, or Iray with some simple 3DL versions).  I'd appreciate feedback about the absence of 3DL material presets.  Making 3DL presets is quite time consuming and frankly haven't been up to the same level of quality as the Iray settings so it's likely I'll continue forward with Iray-only unless there's overwhelming feedback to the contrary.

Awesome.  Please post renders once you have them!  Would love to see how the set works out for folks.  :D

  • Are the night environment light settings included?  I only see the day settings.

Yes, only day settings are included as a preset.  The night settings were done simply by changing the time of day from PM to AM.

I think I also either cranked up the lumens on the interior lights, or made a small plane primitive and moved it inside the lounge behind the wall, copied the wall light settings to it, and then cranked up the lumens on that.  I don't remember which method made it to the final render.
