Bryce and the new Intel i9 processors

Can Bryce make use of the new i9, 18 core (36 core multi-threaded) processors by intel for rendering?

No. At least bryce can use only 8 cores or 4 cores 4 thread processors.

There's a trick you can use : open multiple instances of bryce and made some crop render then edit your final image in a picture editor.

RexRed - it's a memory issue and Bryce is still a 32 bit application. During the development cycle, we had 16 supported cores for a time but it ate too much of memory so the compromise was 8. A multithreaded core is counted as a full one and takes around 15% of a core. I use an i7 with 4 multithreaded cores and this is about as 4.5 real cores. What c-ram suggests is a good idea. I suggest you look at this PDF https://horo.ch/docs/mine/pdf/Plop-Mask.pdf which is actually based on c-rams idea.
