Regrading the new user award, I have checked out the contest a few times, and it seems like the only new user that entered on the 25th was me. But I have in fact been in the bryce community for years, so I do not think it would be fair to nominate myself. so I will create a seperate question for it, and allow chohole to decide what she wants to do with the answer

Let me know if there are any errors
Apoc, very good start.
OK, so I went there and did not get the pictures, but just the names with a tick box. Was that the idea? In that case, could perhaps the link be made to automatic open in a new tab? Because now I had to go back and see that the names are not under the works. So, you have to open them all and/or remember which was were.
And I now see an advantage of a long wait between rendering and voting: can hardly remember which one was mine (or whether I submitted anything) :)
Sorry for this comment. I really appreciate the effort, but just hope to help making it efficient.
Yea let me see if I can fix that right away

Edited:
---------
As far as the images go. I cannot add the image to the survey (poll) ( it is pro features only, and it cost money XD ) so I was hoping people would just look at the ones here in this list, pic there favorite and then vote for it. I appologize if that is too much of a hassle, was hard to find another way to do it. Prehaps in the future I will find a better alternative. ( or upgrade to pro, who knows )
-----------
Edit 2
----------
I also realized that perhaps having the names of the entrants mis-aligns the Survey boxes. I set it up so it would be easy to match the boxes to the images you were looking at, but perhaps the names make it too complicated. Let me know if I should remove the names and only have it as a number? I think it should be easier to memorize that way?
Yes, we are experimenting here.
Ok here is my final edit for now. I didnt like how the boxes were misaligned in the poll , so I removed all the names and just left the numbers of the images. ( sorry if this is an inconveince for anyone, but I can easily add them back if you would like me too ).
I did this mainly so you could look at the layout of the images and click on the box ( in the same position as that image ) without memorizing the names. I find this way far more easier but like I said, I can easily adjust it again if anyone needs me too
Looking good so far, but I'm confused. I have 4 works selected. What am I expected to enter in the following field for the 'Favorite new user'? I stopped there so I don't know how I can put the 4 images the right order.
Im not sure either, I think I might remove that question as I am unsure as how the favorite new user should be decided
Thanks Apoc for the great effort in setting up the polls.
One of my entries is missing; I submitted two entries for A Resolution Achieved Modellng Robby the Robot 1 and 2. Maybe there are other entries missing as well. I also don’t think Mtnmen intended to enter both entries as shown (the last two). But then again I could be wrong.
I also feel non-participating Brycers should vote as those participating always comment on each other’s works in the WIP.
If it weren’t for the challenges we will not see the great work of other Brycers as very few of us who participate in the challenges share our renders in the Show us your Renders thread. For me this is a treat as I don’t venture outside this forum.
We (our small community of Brycers) always appreciated Chohole’s efforts to setup these challenges which we enjoy every much, but I never really realized the enormous effort and work Chohole put into setting them up; as everything worked so smoothly. A Big thank you to Chohole.
Yea sorry about that mermaid, I had orginally posted both of your entries but assumed you had only wanted the second one. ( there were alot of updated entries that somewhat confused me ) you have to forgive me for that error 100% on me.
I can readd it, no problems (hopefully it doesnt screw up the results). I am making alot of mistakes already XD. But I can use this as a learning experience for next time. I can now see the difficulty chohole was having
Don't worry about it Apoc, I just mentioned it because you asked if there were errors. Yes this makes us realized the awesome work Chohole is doing.
Yup, I dont know how she normally sets it up, but decided to keep it close to how her orginally thread as posted. There was one last entry that was added after the contest deadline but decide to omit it just to be safe.
Regrading the new user status. I Never understood how the new user award was choosen so I just left it up in the air for now. Changed the quesiton the to include everyone that particpated in the contest, and also saved the previous results so we dont loose anything.
I did consider just making it a new survey all togther, let me know what you guys think about this idea. As I am still learning about this just as much as anyone here
Well this is the preliminary doc I set up in libre office (which gives me working links) I have sorted it alpahebetically on the tools withing libre Office, and then I use this list to make the judging thread which was here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/125416/23nd-bryce-render-challenge-judging-thread-sport#latest
This is an older challenge obviously

Worked really easy for me, great job.
Oh cool. I might have to do it similar to this for next Rounds. This seems alot more easier to navigate
Good, it worked for me. Silly me, it doesn't matter which of the 4 I like best since the winner will be the one with the most votes. Good work Apoc, a big thank you for helping Chohole to make this challenge less challenging for her.
Thanks for your efforts Apoc - really enjoy theses challenges and I'm very glad to see them back. What you've done works for me.
Also thanks to Pam and the judges for all their prvious efforts.
Best to all;
Dan
I voted yesterday - I hope the changes since haven't invalidated that, but if I need to redo then please let me know.
It worked for me, except, of course, the new user. Just remembering the numbers and than voting.
Maybe it is possible, next time, to add the numbers to or under the thumbnails? So lazy people like me do not have to count 'second one in the third row'?
Nevertheless, even without that: Fantastic job, Apoc!!
No you should be 100% fine, the only thing I changed was the survey question for new favorite user, in which I posted the previous results below. other results should still be valid
When you click on the thumbnail to see the full sized image, the image title has the number in it there.
One can always enter the numbers manually as below - took just a minute to do. How? Just go into the edit mode, and insert the nums using the cursor as placement etc., - that is, place the cursor at the bottom-right corner of image 4 (for this case/setup), then press the keyboard Enter which should align the cursor under num 1 at its bottom-left corner, type 1, then use your Spacebar to move the cursor along horizontally until it approximately aligns under the bottom-left corner of num 2, type 2...etc.,...etc. You get the idea.
Great work, Apoc

@jamahoney thanks! didnt know I could do that actuallly, since I added the links via script (Source code) XD lol I thought I would have to edit it a fancy way.
Also yes, the survey should be disabled if you already voted to dissallow duplicate votes.
Edit:
In my abosolute defense, the orginal post looked something like this

So didnt know I could edit it that way XD nifty to know
Sorry, Apoc - I wasn't thinking, and you're perfectly right: not being able to log on a second time is the perfect setup for avoiding duplicity.
I prefer the html code option myself too - it allows more control for the final page setup/appearance, and I suppose would be quite possible to take the above code into a html editor, insert code for the numbering setup, and then repost the code again - therefore avoiding doing the manual stuff above. But, honestly, that's just too much hassle, and would depend on your input every competition time, which would be unfair.
Jay
think your previous method was fine.. As you may have noticed, I dont post in forums very often lol, so I had new clue this editor had such neat functions. Mainly the ablity to read your html code and convert it automatically into the right format. This will make future entries alot easier to make. Thanks for the advice!
I voted yesterday... Very easy... Way to go Apoc
Steve
Jamahoney: Had I known, it would be so easy to put the numbers there, I would have done it myself. It never occurred to me to look for the simple option! Thanks so much for trying and showing us.
Credit, and I know you'll agree Hansmar, is due to Apoc alone (I bet he has no idea how his contributions - a compliment - has changed the competition process). Not hoping to impinge upon his thunder (very loud, my ears ) I have just edited the description process above for including the numbers. So, anyone of us Brycers should be able to do so for near future competitions. Though, I suspect Chohole will be out with her batton, if we attempt so
Jay
Jay, of course: Apoc is the one to credit! Fully agree. Still, considering simple methods of changing what can be changed simply is also worthwhile.
And I'll be very careful not to step in the way of Chohole!
Hi Apoc
Thanks for your effort. I have just voted and found the process straight forward.
Nope, no idea at all. Im just a guy with too much free time
