    The Corridor Kit and the Holodeck have been uploaded to F3D. Hopefully they will be available in the morning.

    I changed direction and decided to go with the G Type station instead of cobbing my own together.

    I used the default glass shader in DS to try to simulate a holographic projection.

    I'm working on the crew compliment and created an emblem for the station crew.

    The station will be a Starfleet facility, but will be staffed by both Starfleet and civilian personnel.

    For the civilian uniforms, I'm thinking of the standard Starfleet uniform in different colors, with no rank stripes on the arms.

    Can't go wrong with the purple one :-)

    Could be the monitor but the CivTan one looks to be close to some of the command gold colours.

    Do civilians wear uniforms? Seems to me an opportunity for billTheissing some 'business attire' clothes.

    That's what I'm thinking about. I'm thinking that there are some jobs where I'd want the civilian in a uniform, like space traffic control. But since it's a station, there are also going to be people like a recreational services director who wouldn't wear a uniform. So I'm thinking for the civvie uniforms, should they the same cut as Starfleet or different? Should they have the same division symbols? Same colors? or a variation on the same color?

    I have settled on the look for female nurses/medics:

    I think this might work. For the civilian uniform, I changed the inner circle to silver (from gold) on the badge. I'll use the same division symbols to denote which departments they work in.

    I changed the color of the medic's dress and the badge, plus added white tights.
