A little beauty, thanks so much!
welcome!
i'm adding a textture to get weaved-cane side panels
using the texture shown below as an Opacity map and as a bump map
you get weaved-cane side panels
EXCELLENT!! That is a lovely chair, and the weaved cane sides is the perfect addition. Thanks muchly. :-)
Thanks for the great chair.
Quick question.
What were those promo shots rendered in?
Also did you use Dimension Theory's "HDR Pro Sets Urban Recreation"?
i wrote a script to export Daz Studio scenes to Blender for rendering
( http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/2877/ )
i rendered the images in Blender with the Cycles renderer, which is similar to LuxRender Octane etc...
the HDR images come from http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/archive.html
Blender/Cycles accepts images mapped as "equirectangular" (almost a 360 panorama)
one of the images used was the "Spherical Map a.k.a. Lat/Long" map from here: http://www.blochi.com/gfx/hdri/
though i think i used a jpg version of it instead of the .hdr
.
Thanks Casual
Awesome job as usual. Thanks for sharing
this is super nice. thank you.
Very nice, thank you
very nice. Thank you very much.
Casual, thanks very much for the chair. It is a wonderful item and renders well in Reality.
welcome
and, great render :)
in blender cycles i don't get enough soft shadows like that
but in a recent render i added a large AreaLight and it came out good
i'll try again ... and include the special secret prop ...
... well there are some shadows, but i'd need more shadow-casting objects and less reflective surfaces that accept shadows :)
Thanks for this historic furniture you have done Louis proud.
It's lovely! I especially like it with the cane sides.
Thank you so much!
