Frontier / Medieval Baths
I'm trying to find some simple sets for a frontier / medieval / primitive bath scene. There are tons of great fancy bath house sets out there, but very few that would be appropriate for people in less advanced settings. Of course, many of those that did bathe in those settings would do so in a local stream or pond, but I'm looking for something a bit more 'bath house' ish, but not in the advanced Roman or Ottoman style.
Oddly, there is a great Old West bathhouse set, but unlike the other Old West sets, there doesn't seem to be a product with interior props. So it ends up just being an empty building, not really much to make it a bathhouse.

I see this prop set, which might work...

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

With a bit of resizing and stretching to elongate, this might work for you.

Here's a Japanese style barrel tub...

In the Equestrian props set there is a galvanized tub and a wooden water trough...

There's also several barrels and tubs in this set by Merlin Studios, the tubs may be able to be resized without looking too out of place...

Still seems strange that there isn't a better selection of specific products for this, especially since there are several bathhouse exteriors, but no corresponding interiors.
I will have a look at those, too!
I don't believe I'm able to post links any more but if you visit RDNA and search for bath there is an antique tin bath and a claw foot one. I thought they had a tin hip bath but couldn't see it....
Those might also work, thanks!
Np I'm surprised that no one has made a copper hip bath...I was sure I hd seen one somewhere.
They didn't bathe much in Medieval times supposedly. The working hypothesis I've heard is that the Roman baths brought with the STDs which the native Europeans thought were from bathing too much, thus their reluctance to bathe. When they did, it was most often in a river or lake.
As for western bathtubs, they tended to be round or elongated tubs, simple affairs, with buckets for filling.

I made this copper bath a while ago, for my Medieval Tavern. Don't want to anger the 'All Powerful Daz Gods' by directly linking to it, so here's a pretty picture instead :)
Very nice, and historically accurate ofc :)

So that's the set it is in...I knew I saw a pic of it, but couldn't think of what set it belonged to...

Ditto...thanks for posting. I was beginning to think I'd imagined it.
Nice bath also...
I couldn't check my runtime as I'm still reinstalling with DIM as I'm taking it slowly and categorising as I go.

When I can find that copper hip bath? please.

I've sent you a PM on where to find it :)
