Issues with installing Carrara Pro 8.5.172 beta

Hi all,

I've tried to install the appropriate Carrara beta on my Macbook Pro intel 64 bit computer.
It keeps bringing up a daz splash in text editor stating that my Javascript must be enabled to use the features.
I've never seen this before.
I vergified that enable javascript is enable on in both browsers.
I'm still getting the same splash...

please help.
