Save Image without Canceling Render

One of my biggest frustrations at times with DAZ is that if I save a Render then I cancel the render. There are times when I want to see what the difference would actually be between 60% and 100%. There are other times when Windows decides in the middle of the night that it wants to download an update and a render doesn't get completed, and all of that time spent gets deleted. So I guess I wish DAZ contained two different things:

1) The ability to pause a render and save what has been rendered already, and then be able to continue the rendering without it requiring me to start over.

2) The ability for DAZ to remember where a render was if a machine loses power or some other kind of hardware happens. Kind of like how WORD keeps a copy of the most recently repaired document if something happens to it. I know this one is probably WAY more complicated than the first.

Who knows, maybe some enterprising person has the ability to figure this one out.

    Try File>Save Last Render

Ah but does that allow you to Resume rendering?

    Try File>Save Last Render

    Ahh cool.

Hmmm, I'm not seeing such an option, other than when in render window; there I right click and save as; the .png doesn't have the alpha channel.

But accessing the last render in the temp folder is good for that.

You may need to run the Update and Merge Menus script, which should be in the Scripts/Utilities folder.

    Cheers, but...

I tried in release version of studio too, and got the same error.

Lost my scripts in the menu, and had to recover from a backup

That sounds as if a file may have become corrupt, you may want to try reisntalling (the application or the base content, I'm not sure which has the script).

Works in 4.9.4, and button is now there.
