Oh, nooooooo..... too many wonderful renders and hard work!  I try to choose someone different each month, but it's hard when there are so many wonderful entries.

#18   Juicy Evening - Artist: Vyusur (you have always amazed me with your original objects!)

#14  I am Tomatacus - Artist: Unified Brain (am a sucker for good comic/graphic novel dialogue, liked Red Baron, too!)

    # 5  Jackson's Field Tomatoes - Artist: Bunyip02  (love the water colour effect... need to learn that technique, thank you!)

Cheers to ALL artists for sharing your time and talent!  heartyes  Silene

Well, it won't be any easier waiting until the last day, so here goes.  Several were in the mix, and just went with my gut.

    Entry:  #2

    Title:  Swamp Tomato

    Artist:  Diomede

Stayed true to the original movie poster, with some nice details.  More complicated than it looked.

    Entry:  #5

    Title:  Jackson's Field Tomatoes

    Artist:  Bunyip02

I liked how it was set up.  And the filter looked great.

    Entry:  #18

    Title:  Juicy Evening

    Artist:  Vyusur

I thought that Phil had a more realistic looking tomato, but her overall ambience won me over.  Borderline incredible for her first modeling effort in Carrara.

    HERE ARE THE RESULTS

Thanks to all that entered the #33 Challenge - Tomato et al..

I am pleased to announce all the winners of the challenge.

    There were three categories

    1 for total votes

    2 for PR render

3 for render with postwork on either a PR/NPR or video

there is also a Supweme Wuler WiP prize of my choice. This was a hard decision to make and I finally cut it down to three possibles then two possibles before I decided on where my five bucks was going.

also there is Forum Mods choice which is being decided between the moderators of the forums so a last minute name change has been made to 'Forum Mod's Choice' from 'Daz's Choice'.

AND! Larsen has chosen not one but two entries for prizes, he is so happy with the quality of work shown.. thanks Larsen

    as mentioned in the rules

    1. all final decisions are made by the Supweme Wuler

    2. you must have fun

so these results are final any complaints refer to point 1

So I am pleased to announce that the Challenge Host for #34 is Vyusur unless she passes it on to someone else.

Congrats Vyusur your entries where totally awesome and outstanding and deserved winners.

Wow, I am genuinely stunned, and pleasantly surprised, to get a prize.  Thanks, folks.  Congrats to Vyusur, winners, and also to the other entrants.  Special shout out to UB because I just LOVE toon and comic stuff, and his entries were tremendous examples of what can be done with Carrara. As always, thanks to Daz for continued support, to Stezza for being such an inspiring challenge host, and to Larson for sponsorsing.

Hello, forum mods!  laugh  Guess I hadn't noticed the forum mod piece of this month's challenge when it was announced.  Thanks for participating. Bunyip's Jackson Field entry was a great choice.  Also, THANK YOU for volunteering and your moderation on a day to day basis.  Now, you can't say your volunteerism is thankless.  wink  Please try to stay patient with me.

Despite my firm belief that there were more worthy entries than my Swamp Tomato in the NPR category, I will not post the link to the video clip from Citizen Kane regarding "Fraud at the Polls."  Well, unless we start another debate about the voting rules.  devil

Thanks Diomede!.  That was even nicer than winning a prize.smileysmileysmiley

Congratulations to all.  As it turns out, the Daz prize winners where the exact same folks I voted for, so the results were not a surprise.

But I would like to know who will be the next Challenge host, so I can communicate information about the next PA sponsor.  Stezza, what is the order of ascension? (and thanks for running a very creative Challenge yes)

  • StezzaStezza Posts: 8,064

Thanks all, I have been communicating with Vyusur behind the virtual wall on the internets and she has passed the baton onto Diomede who had also volunteered his services.... which is great...

thanks Diomede... look forward to see what you come up with.. I'll let you know when all secrets have been passed onto the sponsors ...

@mistara still waiting for your details ;-)

I've got an idea or two for the next challenge, but am open to suggestions.  It will take some time to do the usual confirmations with Daz, etc. to get going.  During the meantime, feel free to offer suggestions for the next challenge theme, or for a challenge tool or function requirement.  Post your ideas here if you wish.
