Lots of memes etc...when I was a kid the T-Res WAS the scary dinosaur monster. It was basically him verse everything else. - even dinos from different ages...
I think after Jurassic park, the raptor became the new king and no matter how much you scale-up the new main beastie, the raptors steal the show.
So much so, even the terrible Broderick Godzilla had 'raptors' in there.
This Carnosaurus looks impressive and I'd run from that too. lol

It will come with poses for both the Carno and Genesis 3 Male/Female.The armor has a built in ladder so no need for crotching.

All present day representations of dinosaurs are imaginary so any representation is just as valid as any other. No one knows what they really looked like. They try to reconstruct what they think they looked like based on very incomplete sets of bones, sometimes just fragments of bones, and they create a whole theoretical dinosaur. It's as much fantasy as science.
Yeah, but some of them they've got a lot better idea of than others. We've found mostly fully intact skeletons of quite a few of them, those we're pretty sure we have right. And then there's the ankylosaur cousin that was recently found in Canada that was fully intact fro the skin all the way to the stomach contents. Intact enough they think they'll be able to get a DNA readout on most of it's stomach contents according to the article I read. The face of the fossil looks like it's just asleep, not fossilized. It's amazing
like dragotx said they have been finding some great finds lately and yeah they found a pretty full intact dinosaur got the vid of it on my facebook page somewhere see if i can relocate it and share here if possible oh btw we need few different raptors and flyers ooooo a teradon armed with lazor cannons :) if you were any good at robots too would love some inspired Transformers Beast Wars characters

This is very true for a lot of prehistoric animals that we don't have enough fossil evidence of but to classify all of them like that is incorrect. There are many dinosaur skeletons found nearly complete, some with skin impressions, and some others with evidence of stomach contents (like Dragotx stated). For example, fossilized impressions of the scale patterns on the Carnotaurus have been found so we know how it was scaled. We also know its shape, size, and that it had these tiny arms from enough fossil evidence. It's like finding pieces for a puzzle you're putting together and we'll never complete the whole puzzle. What we do have complete though is tangible while the empty area is only theoretical like you state. Many of the 'dino nerds' like to argue over the theoretical areas while the other people that enjoy fantasy art usually picture dinosaurs as monsters and not like real-life animals (I blame the 80's).
Many artists, like me, don't know all the facts but I try to stay up-to-date as possible on findings and new scientific theories. I usually learn a lot from dino-nerds, or I mean followers, when they let me know something is wrong. I'm a dino-nerd and I love fantasy art at the same time so it's hard to constrain myself on what "I" think it should look like and what has been proven. The Carno's arms are no doubt funny looking but features like that is what makes every prehistoric creature unique and realistic. Otherwise, they all would be some form of a fantasy Rex.
Speaking of fantasy art...
The Carnotaurus skeleton is virtually complete, down to the arms. When compared to that skeleton, Herschel's Carno is spot on (as is his Trex.)

thanks guys love dinos think that's what started me off as a kid loved retiles found out about dinosaurs, skeletons led to ghosts the parnormal monsters and aliens love all this stuff btw @Herschel Hoffmeyer any eta on this sexy new beast?

Love this. Great looking figure. Simply because it is so darn convincing. Beauiful work. Someone was mentioning the arms. Heck these things just ate things whole. I think table manners saved us from loosing ours ...though I've been at Hog's Breath Cafe's wishing I was built more like this guy at times :)
Picked it up this morning. looks great from what I've seen in some quick tests so far. Looking forward to more of your dinos espectially the triceratops I think you mentiond :)
This Dino is in my shopping cart... Just waiting for some sale glitches to get cleared before pushing the button. The fantasy armor/weapons pack is a must buy as well when released.
As far as future requests, I'd like some herbivores that were contemporary in time and geography to the predator - something like a carnotaurus (or t-rex for that matter) lunch pack! I have a lot of dino models and it is hard to find different dinos that go together (if you are trying to be accurate).
Finally, the promo artwork for this beast is awesome!

Agreed. I would also like to suggest with the herbivores some carrion models to add to scenes. Both newly killed and various other stages of decomp, even bones showing.
I have lots of dino meshes, so any extras included help in justifying purchases. the included poses and amazing textures in your T-Rex package are what sold me on him.
I’ve been trying to figure out what the likely prey for a Carnotaurus was. Doesn’t seem to be a lot of info on that. I know there was quite a few sauropods about but they would have been too big I would, have thought. In the Disney film they have Iguanodons but not sure if they got that right and if they lived alongside the Carnotaurus and in that area.
I assume they would have done some scavenging and that there would have been quite lot of smaller prey animals we have not found evidence of yet.
Glad you guys are enjoying the Carnotaurus and thank you for the comments. The next dino I have planned is the Eotriceratops which is a little bigger than the regular triceratops. I have thought about scene props quite about, especially a dino carcass like you mentioned. I will include a handful of varying types and sizes in its own pack. Plenty more to come!
