Content Search Crash Daz 3

Hi,

I know this topic has been posted before, but any link to a script that supposedly fixes this content search bug is dead. I'd appreciate any help on this issue because I'm at my wits end with it.

I had Daz 3 installed on my laptop and recently upgraded to a new computer with Windows 8. I installed Daz 3 and it all seemed fine until I went to set up my categories and found the content search crashes the program each time. Daz just shuts down. This never happened on the laptop with Windows 7. I know you can delete the data file, but that's not much help as it takes down the categories with it and you have to start over again. I have a LOT of content and redoing the categories each time isn't an option.

I've tried Daz 4.5 and I don't like it, I want to stick with 3 for now.

Would anyone be able to link me to the content search script for Daz 3 that apparently fixes this crashing issue? Or offer me any advice on how I can stop it happening without losing my categories in the process? I'd be so grateful if someone can help me out ~ Thank you

my workflow in DS3 is to right click the root of the folder I wish to search (poses, props, etc.) and browse the folder. At that point Windows will open up the folder for you and you can search using the OS's framework so it's more stable than DS.

I've solved the content search and it's not crashing anymore. But now I have it referencing old versions of Daz files rather than the newer installs. Think I'm about ready to have a meltdown!
