Scale and Sky and Setting

I'm examining the user's guide, and intend to spend some more time on it this week. (And i just noticed the Bryce Tutorials, those look great.)

Meanwhile, I need a particular project done asap, so I could use 3 pieces of information.

1. Most important: How do I adjust the scale in Bryce? (Where is the 'Scale' control?) Oh, and the also the control for positioning (moving and turning) the character, like in Daz Studio. .

2. Is adjusting sky and daytime/nighttime condition done through 'Sky and Fog'? (I assumed it was, but...)

3. If- for instance- a spaceship resting in Bryce is joined by a character imported from Daz Studio, Can a setting (like, say...'Alphabase'...also be placed in Bryce to give character and ship a setting? (Or some setting that would work for a parked ship?)

What is the best way to do this? (Let's say that the ship and character are already in place, in Bryce. Do I need to start over, or can the setting still be added through the bridge to Bryce?}

    Click on Edit on top of the main screen. At left, there is a cube with sticks attached to it. Hold down the left mouse button and push and pull the mouse to scale. Below that cube is a small down arrow. It opens a context menu and at the end is Transformation. If you open that dialog, you can scale by percent. The third option is to select the object you want to scale and click on the A right of it. This opens the Attributes dialog and you can enter the size in Bryce Units (BU). There are no metres or inches, just BUs. Assign to a BU whatever you like. There are 3 decimal places. If you say a BU is a kilometre, you can go down to metres. If you say a BU is 1 metre, you can go down to a milimetre.

    As a general rule, click on everything you see in the main GUI and see what happens. Or download the Documentation (it's still a WIP but most is correct): http://docs.daz3d.com/lib/exe/fetch.php/artzone/pub/software/bryce/bryce_7_ag_wip_0204.pdf
