Gift Coupons ...

Please tell me it's just me ... yesterday I thought I'd grab a gift coupon (as advertised in that *&^%$£& annoying scrolling banner that hides the stuff I usually want to see ... ironic, huh?) which was offered (it appears) at $10 off if you buy a $100 coupon. Any way, clickety-click on the link and get taken to the gift card purchase page (I thought I might get a 'info/detail of offe page first) pre-loaded with buyer name and email address. A bit concerend they were NOT my details, but we can adapt, we can improvise, we can over-type ...

All details plugged in and ... at the step just before purchase, having viewed the cart there's no $10 off. Ho hum, never mind. Maybe they've just not quite got around to getting everything lined up behind the scenes, I'll do it later.

Later - today, not ten minutes ago in fact, I try again. Joy, bliss - my name and email are pre-loaded but ... I cannot get because ... *cue drum-roll* I have already purchased a gift card ...! ;) Ahhh, whooops?

You can still buy, as the button doesn't prohibit you from buying, just warns you that you already have pruchased.

Could have sworn I'd tried and it didn;t take - will try again ...

And now I have someone else's name and email pre-loaded (a different someone from previously) and the 'Add to Cart' is still 'green and active' ...

Ahhh, and now the $10 off is happening! :)
