HW, this is just awesome!  Love the comic cover look and the captions.

I've forgotten if you are exhibiting at the current Manley show.  If so. I hope it is going well.

Phantom would make a great pinup model in the current Challenge.smiley

A Not So Magic Pudding - after Norman Lindsay's character - which didn't have ears and had a more battered bowl. Digital work.

An interesting filter effect on Mr Beefcake, HW.  It treated the shadows in an unusal way, which looked weird to me, but on the whole it looked very useful.  Thanks for posting.

The pudding was amazingly well done.  However, considering that before this post I had never heard of Norman Lindsay - just now googled him - I am probably not the best judge of authentic puddings.smiley

But hey, it had a character named Bunyip, so it must be OK.

Bunyip, is that where you took your name?

Very impressive, HW.  Don't think I've tried that filter yet.  Off to explore!

Bunyp - lovely Vicky.  Ivy and other plants also came through very nicely.  When I start applying filters, I often can only get either figures or environment to look the way I want, but not both.  Well done.

I love my critters, so I took a mythical Australian critters name. The 02 is a personal dedication to Seaking 02 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Nias_Island_Sea_King_crash

Thanks Diomede. I use Topaz Adjust for colour correction which seems to help the colours with the filters.

Damn! She looks a lot like you, doesn't she? Was that intentional? Is your name really Alina?

Either way... beautiful  render - wonderful sketchy effect!

  • PhilWPhilW Posts: 5,145

Vyusur - I tried applying your Alina character to Mistara's G8F beta for Carrara and it looks like some of the pupil polygons are not morphing correctly, and so are left above her head, making it look like she has antennae (which move with her eyes!). Not sure if there is a fix for this (I suppose some clever alpha mapping could sort it) but it is a shame that this is happening.

Nicely Done, Vyusur!  I was going to suggest that maybe you put this in the wrong thread, but Dart beat me to it.smiley

Then again, I don't know the details.  Was this a Carrara render?  And what is "sketchy?"
