extreme morphs ?

I hope this isn't a dumb question but thers something I can't seem to find on mighty google and I'm in need of a push into the right direction.
I'v been learning Daz for a few days now.One of the things I'd love to figure out if how to import more 'extreme' morphs, morphs that basically break the mesh making the Genesis figure from a human to something else.

At first my most logical thought would be that these are new figures with their own rigs that have no link to the Genesis figures but under the Elebeast it clearly states
'the Elebeast returns for Genesis 3 Male.'
I'd love to know how these get made on the technical level, or at least how the progress is actually called so I can maybe find the proper information. I'v played with porting my owm morphs made in Zbrush and, mits keeping to its rules of only moving things and not breaking the mesh, things seems to work.

The Genesis line has a feature called "geo-grafting", which basically lets you cut out a portion of the figure's mesh and stick something new in its place. That's how the Elebeast's trunk and tusks work. The Ball Joint Dolls work by morphing the figure's joints down to very very small, and covering them up with the balls, which are really just odd-shaped clothing colored to match the skin.
I see, thank you I'll go and research more about this geo-grafting !
