Is there anyway where you can queue different scenes for rendering and have it automatically render and save while you are away

No, but it would be fairly simple to write a script to do this (in fact I think there is one, though I'm not sure it didn't need updating for DS 4).

HOWEVER: see the 3Delight Thread. There is a way to batch render.
