Rigging endpoints don't move with morph after cr2 conversion

I am having a problem with rigging conversion to Poser (9, specifically).
I have made a conforming clothing item (for Dawn, if that is important). The item has extra bones for some large medallion items that need to stay rigid. For full body morphs I adjusted the rigging to shape for those extra bones and did an erc freeze. Then I converted the whole item to a Poser cr2.
When conforming the clothing and then dialing in the morphs, it seems that the origin or center point of the bones will move, but the end points do not. This causes some major distortion to the clothing item.
I've messed with conformEndPoint and conformParm settings within the cr2 file, but nothing seems to work. Is this a bug of the DS to Poser conversion, or just a limitation of the cr2? Could I just fix this within Poser using the setup room without losing all my morph data?
Thanks for any input you can give me. :)

Poser certainly ddi have limitations on what it allowed, but I thought an SR for the first version in which it was an issue fixed that. Whether that affected Poser 9 I can't recall, but make sure there isn't an SR you are missing.
I have the Poser SR 3.2 installed. That looks like the latest one.
