How to make ocean waves like wake from a ship

Hey

I have had much sucess in bringing my ships into bryce but it's always with static water. I'd like to add some wake waves. Anyone know a good way to do this?

    terrain with water texture is the best way .

    Yes, wakes and waves can be made with terrains in Bryce, but if you are not sure how to go about it, there is a freebie for wakes. It is at Rendo's Free Stuff, but I think the download is from ShareGC. Spacebones is the name of the contributing artist, and he offers "Wakes" and "Ships Wakes". Study his, and then you can figure out how to make your own. It seems most of the foam and spray seem to be added as post work with brushes. I have not tried the wakes, but Spacebones is a reliable artist, so I feel it's ok to recommend his work.
