Dan - thank you for having LIKED our images. It doesn't happen often that Bryce artwork makes it into the Top Recent Images. In my experience, it needs 20 or more likes and stays for about three weeks, it may stay a bit longer if more likes are added and the image moves to the left.
Hansmar - thank you. I like your bridge render and the experiments with the symmetrical lattices. Experiments are always good.
adbc - thank you.
yay...i finaly made it as a PA, my first item hit the store today :D

Tim - Great! I wish you all success with all your DS stuff you'll eventually come up with.
Tim - Congrats I also wish you success with your products.
Ditto on the congrats
Can you include OBJs in a separate installer for us non DS peeps?
thanks all :)
@Chohole, i cant promise...but i will make a note to provide those also :)
I second this as I only use Bryce and a bit of Wings 3D
@mermaid010, i have tested the daz to bryce bridge with my sets, so far they have transitioned really well :)
Looks very good Tim, congrats!
I used some DAZ people (Genesis 8 and Millenium baby) plus some free furniture (at least some from Drachenlords, with the oil lamp) and room and toys from Archive3d,net. Posing in DAZ Studio and texturing/texture modification as well as rendering, of course, in Bryce. Used the sun, two sphere lights and a cubic fill light for lighting. Soft shadows and (of course, therefore) premium AA. Title: Love.
Been a while since I chimed in to this awesome thread.
Hansmar,
I love this render of Love! In the future I would suggest higher quality settings on the dome/fill lights and to avoid premium render settings if possible. Both high quality settings and Premium render setting will make very long render times as you well know.
Horo,
So many awesome renders, too many to detail individually. As always your work is bar raising!
Mermaid,
You're all ove the place doing so many cool things. Not only are you having fun but you are conveying cler moods in the work. For example I really like the sunset render and the way the light affects the little boat. Very nice effect!
Tim82.
Another stunning image from you. that underwater scene looks almost like a photo to me.
ElectroElvis,
Congrats on making the render banner, well deserved!
Thanks for the info, but i dont use Daz, only Bryce
Hansmar - I love the Love render, the lighting is perfect.
Rashad - thanks for the nice comment. Fun it is.
Rashad - thank you. Since you're not submitting Bryce renders anymore, I've got one competitor less and got one rung up the ladder.
Hansmar - nicely done. It appears as if there were haze iin the room.
Yeah, that 's unfortunate. I feel that soon there will be no competitors at all.
Brycers die like mammoths.
Hansmar : "Love" very inspiring scene, well done.
Slepalex - yes, you are absolutely right, I tried to give this a humorous angle. It doesn't help to lament. It is true that competition motivates us to become better and inspire us.
Just a terrain and the same mirrored in the distance. The aircraft is by Angel Estevez. Sky, ambient and main light by an HDRI, the sun has negative diffusion and adds the green in the scene.
Horo - another outstanding render, perfect mats and lighting.
Horo : Excellent image, awesome sky.
memaid - thank you, also for your emailed questions that inspired me to experiment with the Landscapes under Fantastic Skies set. This one also only uses that set.
adbc - thank you.
Just an inverted terrain and one behind it, an HDRI and the sun to light the scene.
@Horo, wow thats an interesting scene....nice work :)
Horo - I second the WOW, superb scene. Thanks to my wins in the last two challenges I am a proud owner of the Landscapes under Fantastic Skies and the Vegetation sets. I downloaded them, but I haven't unpacked them yet. Hopefully sometime today. Thanks for your help.
Horo : All I can say is "wow". Love the colours of the sky and the terrain, they match very well.
Tim - mermaid - adbc - thank you very much
Rashad: Thanks. I might redo the scene, but probably tune done the fill light and spike up a sphere light at the top. Or I might use your light set for internal lighting, of course.
Horo: Both landscapes are fantastic, just like te skies. I envy Mermaid for acquiring that set.
Horo, Slepalex: Indeed, the number of contestants and entries is slowly decreasing. But this time it is very, very low (so far). Apparently, the present theme is not for everyone.
Hansmar - thank you.
The same terrain as above but not inverted and two flipped horizontally and one vertically, everything in a fading mirror box.
Looks gorgeous!
Very interesting landscape as well.
Very epic scene.
Rashad, great to see you on this subforum again. I wish i joined brycing earlier, when you and others, who are not active much anymore, were more active (sorry for confused language). Recently i enjoyed very much reading a discussion with you in thread about iRay realism, and i hope to continue learning something new from you and others who participate or participated here.
Lovely scene with a kind mood.
Spectacular dof and lattice experiments!
These are beautiful abstracts.
Oh, dangerous place! But pretty unusual.
While storm might be coming, i see harmony of nature here. Great!
Yet beautiful and mesmerizing! Nice!
Very cool surreal/sci-fi location. Would travel to it in dreams...
Pleasant martian scenery with footprints of civilization.
Horo - Wow the Wasteland render is amazing.
Akmerlow - thanks x2 for the nice comments.
A lot of wonderful renders here. Well done
A little scene. Wanted to use Aging Morphs and the Bulldog of Daz3D. Light comes from Rashad's EGDSL system.
Awesome.
The magic of Bryce really is in the materials, I think. It's the part of th e software that seems to carry the most weight in terms of fidelity and realism. And it's also the most intimidating part to learn (at least for me).
If red skies at sunset means a hot day to follow, I'd have the AC blasting based on that render.
This forum needs a "Like" button.
That is very cool! Very different!
