Looking for Terrain tutorials for Mars / Lunar Canyon Type Environments

Hi there. I am looking for a tutorial that would show how to create a 'Mars' type Sci-Fi terrain, kind of like a canyon? I also need to add uneven rocks that project upwards from the ground plane. I am new to Bryce 7 Pro so I am not sure where to look?

Any help would be appreciated!

You can draw a height map in the terrain editor or a graphics app and import it into the TE. White is high elevation, dark low. The height map drawn in a graphics app must be 16 bit grey scale TIFF. You can also use DEMs, like I did here http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=4133

Thank you Horo! I will give that a shot. I will need to get more familiar with the Terrain Editor from some of the online videos and the Artist Guide.
