Load it...then use your favorite V4 skin and then in the Surfaces tab, change the Diffuse Color to something 'blueish' for each of the skin areas and save it as a preset.

Poser materials not working correctly should not be a 'show stopper'...it's always been that way and probably always will be. There's tons of stuff (basically everything except dynamic hair and clothes) that may not have 'proper' materials for DS, but otherwise works, perfectly.

For the record, it's spelled Twi'lek, not twelik. You have the "e" and "i" reversed.

For the record, the skin is AWESOME and looks great on regular genesis too.

anyone know of good way to make the ear nubs? I'm using the medolian and it does a great job with a few adjustments i'm just not to sure about how to build something like that maybe a cone object and shrink it down and round out the cone?

Well, the so-called "ear nubs" are a part of the head-dress females wear, not a part of a twi'lek's anatomy. They do have actual ears, even the females. To make them though, I'd suggest starting with a hemisphere instead of a cone then taper the sides of the hemisphere until it forms a rounded cone shape and attach it to your head-dress.

So i have a question on this. I've tried using this to replicate the lekku but i'm running into issues with using two of the head tails at the same time. It will try to merg them into one and then when i try to pull it apart it only does some parts I'm wondering it i should try opening these in hexagon and making something new with it to get the right effect would that work or be a bigger pain the rear. Any suggestions.

I'm sorry, but my inner fanboy side cannot let you say such things. :P

According to Wookieepedia, all male twi'leks have human ears, while some of the females have human ears, and others the ear nubs. Since wookieepedia is not the absolute reference, let's check the facts:

Male twi'leks

- Movie-wise, all males seems to have human ears (Bib Fortuna being the most notable and almost the only example)
- The expanded universe (now reclassified as "Legends" seems to follow theses rules, I could only find one male twi'leks having clearly "ear nubs", an unnamed Twi'lek pirate appearing in a single "the clone wars" comic. I'm gonna say it was more of a mistake from the illustrator than a genuine depiction of a male twi'lek:

Female twi'leks

- Movie-wise, since the lekkus are a movie prop, they most of the time depicted twi'leks wearing headbands so the transition between the actor with makeup and the lekkus props would remain unnoticed. Same goes with the ears: they either wear ear covers, or you see the "ear nubs" protruding from the prop.

But I do agree, your method is perfect for making ear nubs when they're attached to the earpiece. :PThe erroneous concept of the "nubs" being a part of the anatomy is what caused some of those EU illustrators to draws them as such. In the case of the movies, the "nubs are just ear covers, nothing more. As for Oola from ROtJ, her covers were covering normal ears. I can say this with some certainty because of the main villain in the Diversity Alliance story arc of the Young Jedi Knights books was her sister, Noola Tarkona, who had normal ears.

As for the movie Twi'Leks whose ear covers were the same color as their skin, that does not equate to the colors being part of their anatomy. It's simply a matter of color coordination.
