Construction Kits for Space Stations and Spaceships

These are two products that I would love to see. Now I am aware of the Space Station Construction Kit by Simon-3D over at Renderosity, but...well, at the risk of sounding like a jerk, it looks rather...dated, for want of a better term. It just isn't what I'm looking for. And I've also seen some kits here on DAZ3D, but they're for Bryce. And I just don't use Bryce these days. And I haven't seen a kit for spaceships.
Anyway, I think something like that would be really nice, and if someone were to make such a versatile kit, I would buy it.

That would definitely something i would go for. There was an old set (by Davo??) that was really excellent. There were also several military ground vehicles sets. An updated version of those would be a sure buy on my part.
The worst thing about old stuff like that is they often just fall apart if you try to subdivide, or have surfaces where everything is on one map.
Though I found this amazing free space station (zenith) that had the problem of trying to select from dozens and dozens of surfaces to set stuff, with almost none of it labeled coherently (I THINK it's all just numbered)
heh.
Where did you find it?

amazing but no textures or rigging.
I Googled Davo and Poser, just out of curiosity. And found a store filled with porn props and setups. >:[
Davo's stuff can be found here:

and if you can dig up some of the old threads here, a lot of people did some pretty incredible kit-bashing with his sets, all shapes and sizes.

If you check out Deviant Art for MadManMike, you'll see some incredible builds from Davo's stuff.

DZFire's Nurnies and Greebles sets can be useful for building spacecraft:

I love those DZ Fire kits, but what's required for stations and vehicles is really something which has a smart-propping and/or 'snap-to' ability.
There was a recent motorcycle which used that and we badly need to see the same building philosophy behind a lot more, so that we're able to use two or three examples of something in a single scene, but make them each look convincingly unique so that the viewer isn't scratching their heads and thinking, "This pice of art would have worked really well, but you can tell they just replicated this thing here."
