Looking for Backgrounds and Scenes

I've looked all over the place for some good free backgrounds or scenes, I was wondering if anybody has any links to sites that have them...for free.

ShareCG is about to become your new best friend. The only thing to keep in mind is that the search is a little bitchy. Don't select any categories, and try to keep your search terms to one or two uncommon words. Common words, or search terms that include common words, will result in about a billion pages of not what you're looking for. Attempting to search within categories always produces no results.

Look for Hobobo (Bo Hammarberg) on ShareCG -- he's done hundreds for Cyclorama, Infinity Cove 3, and as Poser scenes that can be used in DS or Poser without anything else.

If you're looking only for photographic images you can bring in as a backdrop image, I've found Pexels is a great source of "creative commons zero license" stock photos that can be used for any purpose, including commerical and noncommerical, and best of all, they're all totally free. I've used many of them as background images for my scenes. Here's the link: https://www.pexels.com/
