    Hi SWAM,

I'd like to add my voice to kermorgans; Nita Hair is in my shopping cart, but some length morphs would be nice.

Would you also consider a Hair figure with a similar fringe but twin tails such as described in this thread....

    Stereotypical Japanese Twintail hairstyle: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/2071981/#Comment_2071981

    Cheers

  • Hello... sorry it's been so long... My father passed away so I've been depressed and spending time with my family... I am still working on the hair though so I understand if you decide to use another hair. This hair will still be available soon just gonna be a bit late. Again I'm very sorry for the delay. I will post some updates soon.

Ooooh... Hiii die.kane_e880951035 Welcome back! I'm so sorry for your loss. I totally understand. I'm still awaiting my perfect hair ;-) I tried another hair piece but it's still not right. Am still busy writing my novel (reached chapter 54) so there's time. I'm glad you're back! Looking forward to your updates.

Hi die.kane_e880951035, Sorry to hear of your loss but glad to hear that you and your family are helping each other through this difficult period.

No problem waiting for your hair item. Just let us know when you are ready, or if you want any input.

    Cheers,

    IsaacNewton

Hey die.kane_e880951035 How are you doing?

  • Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry for the huge delay, but my kidney is acting up again (I have stage 3 Kidney Disease) and my family is going through some drama so it's going to be a while before it's done. Especially because I hit a bit of a snag on morphing the hair without it looking weird. So I will continue to work on it again once my energy returns but it will be a few months I'm afraid. So it will still be free if you still wish for it to be available. I just hope you don't mind waiting a bit longer. I apologize and will check back soon. Happy Holidays.

Concentrate on your health and your family. Without those, everyone loses. Best wishes. Frank.

  • die.kane_e880951035 Good to hear from you, hang in there! I'll still wait, just as I'm still searching. None of the hairs I see so far quite give me the result I want so I'm looking forward to your production, whenever it turns up. If you're in a reading mood, or need a little distraction, you're welcome to check out my story. It's now at 70 chapters and still counting ;-) http://w.tt/1mn36xo Best wishes and blessings for the new year!

    Hi die.kane_e880951035 IsaacNewton!

I hope you're both okay. Check out this https://www.daz3d.com/classic-bob-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females . This is the closest I've ever seen to what I was looking for. I don't know whether it has the same morphing flexibility we were discussing, or whether one can turn off the bangs, but I'm going to test it out. It does look very natural. :-)

    Hi Kemorgan,

The Classic Bob hair is very nice but the hair length is not long enough for my purposes. I do have some Bob Hair figures from way back, V4 I think. I'd be happy to hear how you get on with testing the Bob Hair figure. It would be nice if the hair was morphable for a wide range of body/head positions, rather than limited to a slight nod or side movement.  Or even better... dForce compatible; but I doubt that is possible.

I'm so sorry you're going through all that. I hope that things get better soon. Please take care of yourself and don't stress about anything else. Your health and family comes first. heart

It has decent wind and movement dials. What appears to be missing is a morph for extreme hanging hair, like if the actor is hanging upsidedown, or lying on the bed with the head hanging over the edge to allow the hair to hang straight down. And in particular, I don't see a dial for adjusting for the shoulders. So if you have hair reaching past the shoulder, it will go straight into the shoulder instead of parting. Unless that option is hidden among a combination of morphs somewhere...

Compared to all the other substitutes I've bought and gone through over the year just to find the right match for my character however, this hair covers most of what I was looking for. I love the texture. The only thing I'm not getting is the defined curve/rounding of the bangs from the forehead to the temples/ears. The morph option is there, but it doesn't translate into what I wanted.

Oh, and one other thing. It wasn't set up for if I want to turn off the bangs to show her forehead; it looks unnatural. Alternatively, sweep her bangs backward to expose her forehead. I'll still have to toggle with a substitute for such a scene (which I have).

    See screenshots below.

Kemorgan, thanks for the review of the Classic Bob Hair. It does look nice, but as with so many hair figures, it looks like it was designed primarily with an upright head posture in mind. This is fine for sitting upright, standing or catwalk scenes, but people move dynamically and to look natural the hair needs to be able to "move with gravity".
