Looking for Scottish Thistle

I have a render in mind but I need a Thistle in the foreground. Goes under various names: Scottish Thistle, Common Thistle, Bull Thistle, Spear Thistle - genus Cirsium Vulgare. I have been searching and the closest I am finding are spindly things that don't match what I am after. Anyone know where I can find one?

CG trader have one, in obj format, for $13 and some change https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/thistle

Thanks ToeJam and Chohole - I have Wild Borders and just checked the thistle, unfortunately it is too low poly for my foreground. And I had found those on cgtrader (and another site with 10 euro ones) the heads aren't quite big enough, even if I did re-colour the flower. They would be my last resort if nothing else turns up.
The only one I know of that's close is this one from Evermotion...

Lisa's Botanicals has a Globe Thistle over at Hivewire: http://hivewire3d.com/globe-thistle.html
Thanks mjc1016 - That is the other fall back I have, but both that and the cgtrader ones are too delicate for this thug :-) Thanks Charlie but that is the wrong species - I did check out Lisa's B and Xfrog when I started looking.
The cgtrader ones are the Evermotion ones...there are several in the various Evermotion sets.
In the 'full' set (148 plants in all) there are 3 different Cirsiums and 3 Onopordums...each are around $14. I'm not sure how much 'sturdier' you'll find...but you can scale it some.
Thanks I think the Flowering one from cgtrader/Evermotion is the best one so far, hadn't see the full set, so I'll have to check that out but I think I have seen the 3 Cirsiums individually. Never thought it would be so hard to find such a common weed :-) If all else fails I might have to make billboards or add in post.
Thanks everyone for your help.
you could probably make the Wild boarders one more detailed using LAMH
a nice CC image of one you could edit
Thanks ToeJam it is a nice picture. If it wasn't the wrong time of year I could just go out and take a picture of some :-) Looks like mjc is onto something

might work, not as tall as I envisaged so some scaling - hope the flowers will scale separate to the leaves, but it is the best so far.
yeah are weeds here in Adelaide Australia, I have to spray with roundup as grow in gravelled areas by my driveway
Careful...they have been known grow through concrete...AND are just damn hard to kill, short of burning them.
And I guess that you need this for an image to be finished by Tuesday?
You must have a special variety out there in the colonies. The home grown British and Scottish thistles are much more sedate. Persistant; but not thugs.
I used to grow a variety commonly known as milk thistle, mostly because I loved it's latin name.
was thinking, how hard is this?
Maybe it's just the local conditions...but thistle (the Onopordum variety) are nearly as hard to kill as poison ivy...repeated mowing will keep them under control.
Hmm between 1.7 and 2.5 metres tall. and doesn't actually grow in Scotland ( well certainly not with any degree of success), that is not what I would actually call a Scotch Thistle.
Joking really, as this does tend to be the one used on heraldry, but it isn't the one I am familiar with as a normal thistle, ie weed.
Ok I made one in Carrara, is not great though but Oh well had fun

LOL Glad this inspired you to make one ;-)
This is the 'green weed with purple flowers' from above. two copies of the Obj (could probably use instances but I was testing), one scaled larger and its leaves hidden - still tweaking the iray surfaces.
The one the Aussies are complaining about is much more likely to be Canadian Thistle. It looks nearly like that Scottish Thistle but is a scourge in most places that graze lots of beef cattle and have imported fodder. Canadian Thistle is pretty and blooms in horse country 1st half of summer if I remember right.
