In Bryce 7 Pro when I try to click and drag an object I can't drag it to where I want it to go

in bryce 7.1 pro when i go to click-drag an object i can't drag an object by just 1 space anymore every time i i click-drag it moves by about 10 spaces instead of just one and with each push of the arrow key it moves the object by about 10 spaces indead of just 1 space as well. it was working perfectly fine just a little while ago. PLEASE HELP!
