Renaissance Male

I see lots of medieval stuff and lots of late Georgian / Victorian outfits, but very little covering the period 1500 - 1600 and only a few musketeer outfits from the 1600s. The renaissance is such a rich and flamboyant period for male clothing it is a pity not to see more. I think there were a couple for M4 - a Romeo outfit and a Jack of Hearts - but it needs updating.
Look at any painting by Holbein or Michelangelo or Raphael (or DaVinci for the early period). Slashed doublets and padded hose with lace ruffs and striped stockings, rapier swords and stilleto knives or even early muskets. Armour was not whole body any more but mainly just breastplates and helmets.

I suspect that part of the issue is that those are quite hard to do - getting puffed sleeves in particular to work is a pain by all accounts (in fact, if you have some of the few items that do exist you will often find that they are made un-puffed and then the puff is a morph that is locked to one). There is Will Durpre's old Romeo set for Michael 3 http://www.daz3d.com/romeo
Yep would love to see more. One of my favorite time periods for clothing. Its also a popular reference point for RPG/fantasy games too.

See Caravaggio's "Cardsharps", or "The Calling of St Matthew", the black upper-body armour and helmet in his "The Taking of Christ".
I agree,
a G3 version of Esha's Musketeer or a new suit with hats, gloves, scabbard and rapier that fits on Fairytale Prince for G3.
I'm hoping...
