Rigging Help: Sliding doors don't slide smoothly.

I'm converting a solid wall into a wall with sliding doors. (Collective3d Portrait Vignettes Sci-Fi 3).

Getting everything set up was pretty easy thanks to surfaces...so I've concerted the singular object into a boned object with a Wall bone and two door parts.

(I've been using Jen Greenless's video tutorial, so I used Triax)

The doors each have a singular unlocked paremeter (Translate X, renamed open). It has limits set so it goes between closed and opened.

That all works basically right..

THE PROBLEM IS: the doors don't slide when the slider is moved...instead they just jump to the position when the slider is released. I know I'm missing some simple stuff here :(

(I plan on after getting this solved, adding a control to slide both doors at once).

For some things I've found that they won't work right until saved and reloaded...saved as a figure, that is.   And sometimes not until after a Studio restart.

I was rigging a pocket knife that did that, move the slider for the blade to open it, it would stay closed then jump to where it was supposed to be.  It did that even after reloading...until I started up Studio the next time.  Now it works smoothly.

    AH! Great!

I've actually rebooted the computer since posting, and just loaded the scene and the doors work smoothly now. (I was afraid I was gonna have to mess with the bones which I wasn't looking forward to:) )

Now to find my notes on make a single control to open both doors. :)
