daz to zbrush trouble [Solved]

When I use send to zbrush I see nothing on the sculpt part of zbrush. I selected and zeroed G2F on daz but I may do somthing wrong.

I left daz alone a long time and am totaly new to zbrush so no real clue how to start to look.

You'll have to be more specific. Are you using GOZ to bridge your mesh, or normal obj export? Are you exporting the mesh at base resolution? What can you see in the zbrush window when you have imported your character? Remember, once your character is loaded into zbrush, you have to drag it out on to the canvas and go into edit mode.

    Thx for the answear,

I see uniform grey in z brush. No clue what GOZ is and I let it in normal resolution.

I just use the "send to zbrush" button on the low of the file menu.

I can add a screen shot but I guess uniform grey cover it mostly.

    Edit:

Ok it was the drag and drop part I was missing.

When you use "send to zbrush" from the file menu, that is called GOZ. It's an alternative to manual import/export. Don't worry, that's great.

The uniform is grey and uneditable? This sounds like a zbrush issue - can you take a quick screenshot of what you can see?

  • It should be grey, textures don't go across. As for editing, are you drawing it out in ZBrush (hold shift to keep it vertical) then immediately clicking the Edit button in the top tool bar?
