Latest version numbers

The "check for update" option does not work inside Carrara. The Carrara page has no info about what the latest version is. And the store/my account does not identify the version either.

Is it too much to ask for a sticky in the forum listing the latest stable and beta versions, so we don't have to hunt for them or redownload the app to realize it's the same version? something simple would save hours:

Latest Carrara stable version: [#.#.# build#], updated on [date]
Latest Carrara beta version: [#.#.# build#], updated on [date]
