I know the name Cameron as in Cameron Diaz and James Cameron. Can the name Cameron be used a dude's first name or is it a gal's name. I need names for a group of human feeders. So far I only thought of Vallah and maybe Danya or Tanya.

Cameron is an ancient Scots surname, as in Clan Cameron.

Nowadays it is also used as a given name, primarily for males, but has been used for females on occasion.

People may be less inclined to use it as a given name if they knew the meaning of it, as cam is crooked in the gaelic, and sròn means nose, so crooked nose.

Incidentally I am descended from Clan Cameron, and males in our family are traditionally given the name Cameron as a second name, as in my eldest Grandson, who is Daniel Cameron, and then the family name.

Guess my Cameron character was named after a relative who was named after a relative and so on until the first ancestor had the name and he had a crooked nose.

I tried calling Daz but they were not in the office or something. It should be a couple minutes after nine am in Utah and I thought the office opens 9am Utah time.

Aye, it certainly is... and it can be used as male first name too

Best example I can think of was the actor Cameron Mitchell who played Buck Cannon in The High Chaparral - a wee bit before my time (honest!) but the best western series (Bonanza? pffff, not a patch, hehehe)

I got sent home early from work! Waaaaaaaah! Waaaaaaah! I asked if it was because I was in trouble but the manager said that there were too many employees on the clock.

They also messed up my frosty order. Waaaaaaah! Waaaaaah! I was using some halloween coupons. I wanted a large frosty and seven jr frosties. I was given 4 large frosties and 7 Jr frosties. I did not give them enough coupons for that. I told the manager that I only wanted one large frosty, not 4 large frosties. I was allowed to take the extra three large frosties home with me. I am so frustrated that people cannot seem to understand me.

Actually, it isn't my title, but I like so much better than anything I could think of I'm just leaving it be. It does sum up the general mood of the thread quite nicely and separates us well from the "real" complaint threads that I am frankly sick of.
My best title BTW was "The Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired Complaint Thread".
Thanks for the thread, Cho. :cheese:

Yeah, the serious complaint threads can get a bit much sometimes. I only go there occasionally... not something I look at regularly.

And yes, a miracle happened you suddenly got a new thread when you least expected it :-P

Complaint: Today is Halloween and I went out dressed in an old retired guy costume, and no one noticed.

For those who think I'm blowing my cover as a squirrel, you need to know that I am that rarest of creatures: a weresquirrel.

As a shape-shifter, my ability has got to be the lamest ever.

Can I use the name Cameron Mitchell for a feeder? (a feeder is someone who gets bitten by vamps for a living. They are either paid or have everything they need given to them by the vamp(s). He is named after the actor, he was acting when I was a kid and also some before that.

I am trying to find some of Cameron Mitchell's performances like extras in tv shows or in movies.
